I am strong

I realize more each day that my last child will be graduating and leaving for college in the snap of my fingers. I remember looking at her thinking (as she is slurping up spagetti) 'you are a beautiful baby, where will your feet take you?' Well, 17 years later, she has accomplished so much and created an amazing life of faith, love and commitment to God. I know the feelings I have are common for parents who have a child getting ready to move out and begin a life without you there day to day. I trust that she will make the right decisions for living a healthy and faithful college life. I needed to put these feelings into a card which I also can frame for her to keep in her dorm.  We loved this passage so much that many years ago Sara chose it for her confirmation passage and then had it stamped on her bedroom wall. Now she can take it with her. I will be strong when she leaves knowing she is loved and protected by her savior Jesus Christ.
