Outlook Good

I left my beautiful daughter, Sara, at college on August 16th of this year. By Labor Day she was overwhelmed with biology, chemistry labs, not knowing anyone, having a loved boyfriend break her heart and knowing my visit was limited to 3 days. We laughed but mostly cryed together. The new journey was starting a bit bumpy, but I knew God has a plan for her and this learning experience was going to be part of building her character. To make my advice "fun" I sent her this card with my words of limited wisdom. I know Sara's magic eight ball will always come up "Outlook Good." She is a smart, determined, motivated, beautiful child of God who is in store to receive blessings her entire life.
This card is uber easy to create. Black card stock cut
at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4". White cardstock cut at 5 1/4 x 4" with a 3" circle cut out of the top/middle of the cardstock. White cardstock with the number "8" punched out with a 1 1/2" round punch and placed to look like a magic eightball. The sentiment can really be anything you want to say. I used "outlook good" cut out with a nestability and softly sponged with Basic Grey ink. Again, you can choose any saying but I recommend that it is cut out in some sort of circular shape to match the eightball. Have fun!!

  2. Awwwww, momma, I love you. I know God has great things planned, I just wish He'd slow his role a little bit :) But no matter what, I'm still your little girl and I WILL come home as much as I can (even if you don't want me to) cause I need to be with my crazy family as much as I can. Be home soon! <3
